Held between the 8th and the 10th of April of 2026, the 5th Symposium on Space Educational Activities (SSEA) has been a resounding success. In this record-breaking edition, we have welcomed 512 delegates from 39 countries at the TUM Aerospace Campus in Ottobrunn-Taufkirchen.
The 5th SSEA’s rich programme included 166 oral presentations and 50 poster presentations divided into 11 thematic sessions. We had the honor to welcome Mr. Paolo Ferri, Dr. Gernot Grömer, and Ms. Laura Winterling for three inspiring keynotes, and enjoyed two panels discussing how space education will look like in the future from an industry and academia perspective. The programme included 14 social activities covering academia, research institutions and industry sites, and a gala reception organised by the Bavarian State Chancellery.
The Proceedings of the 5th SSEA, containing a summary of the event and compiling the works presented as part of this edition’s scientific programme, will be released soon and available on this site.
